A very successful Vintage Treasures Market

After a very rainy and stormy Thursday evening without power we were running behind schedule but, this is what it looked like Friday morning.
The vendors are busy setting up and drying off
their wares.

Introducing one of our new vendors Kirsten
of Vintage Chic Designs.  She repurposes jewelry from
old buttons and vintage jewelry

Another new vendors booth, Just PreciousVintage.  She has linens, sewing notions, buttons and lace along with a few quilts and clothes.

In the afternoon the rain started up again and the shoppers were staying close to home so, it gave us an opportunity to have story time with Sue Whitney.  Notice what book she decided to read to us!

After the day is done, it is time to unwind with good conversation and drinks before dinner is served.
A toast to all for the hard work and good sales during the day.  We were all pleased.

4 days and counting til Vintage Treasures Market

We have been cleaning, painting, hauling and arranging and cleaning, painting, hauling so that we will be ready for all the shoppers at this years Vintage Treasures Market.   It will start this Friday, June 18 at 9AM.   See you there.

Whose garden or porch will these sit on next week?

We have had this stored for about three year and just getting it out!  But, the best part is we picked up some drawers on the curbside a couple of weeks ago and the paint matched...so now it is complete!

Getting ready for Vintage Treasures Market

Projects we are working on -- these are the raw products.

This old ladder was a little taller.

Some wonderful colored boards and some nail sorting bins

An old chair and a coffee table.

These Bird Houses need a new look and home.

Good junk piling up for the Vintage Treasure Market

These items we found from a friends farm shed.  They are really looking good as we cleaned alot of them up this past weekend.
Can you beleive someone would put this wonderful lamp at the curb?!  We will get it ready for a new home.

This is one pile of finds.

A pair of chairs found curbside are just right for Sophie and her Great Aunt to do some reading while, the Pfarkel's were cleaning and shining the rest of the items brought back.

Another good load of junk and we have not moved things out of the basement, garage or workshop,
